For those interested in early Country Blues music, Tishomingo Blues was written by Peg Leg Howell in 1926 and recorded on the Columbia label Co 1494-D on the 8th November 1926. He was a vocalist and guitarist. Full name Joshua Barnes Howell from Atlanta, Georgia. Ref : Blues and Gospel records , compiled by Dixon and Godrich.
