Guinness In Doctors' Good Books - Complete

Regular price £1,500.00 £0.00 Unit price per

Every year, from 1933 to 1966 (with a short interruption during the War), Guinness produced a Christmas booklet to entertain their friends in the medical profession.

These booklets have now become much sought after by collectors of works illustrated by such artists as Ardizzone, Emett and Whistler and also by Lewis Carroll enthusiasts who have no less than five books based on the Alice stories to collect.

Description: Complete set of 25 booklets.  (Booklet 1 being produced first with both line and colour illustrations and a second edition in full colour)

Unless otherwise stated, the format of the books is 9 1/4 inch x 6 inch

Condition: The booklets are beautifully produced and illustrated in full colour. There are signs of wear to edges, which may be creased or folded. Some of the original staples slightly rusty, however all booklets remain firmly bound and intact.
